We think you will find Edmonds Yacht Club (EYC) to be one of the most active cruising clubs in the Puget Sound, and that you will make many life-long friends with our members.  Unlike many yacht clubs, there is no moorage requirement with your membership.  As long as you own a boat - power or sail - that is at least sixteen feet long you are welcome to join.

Our membership continues to grow!

The process for joining EYC is fun and simple.  We invite you to join us for a General Meeting as our guests.  Meet our members and see if EYC is the kind of club you want to join.  Your sponsor will meet you at the event, informally introduce you to members during social hour.  They will also tell you about the club, our cruises, social events and membership and volunteer activities on our many committees and activities.  Usually 100+ people attend our General Meetings which take place on the fourth Tuesday of each month.  If you are interested in joining the Club you will be asked to give a "first reading," in which you introduce yourself to our members and tell us a little about your boating experiences.  You may apply for membership after you have had a chance to meet our members, see the Club and give a first reading. Then, complete your EYC New Member Application and submit it along with a check for the $500 initiation fee and your pro-rated annual membership dues.

Our cruising calendar continues to grow!

On our Formal Cruises we have organized activities for kids and adults, along with plenty of time to relax.  One of the special events we have each year is the Commodore’s Cruise.  Each year the newly elected commodore takes you to their favorite spots, such as the San Juan islands, various British Columbia locations and south Puget Sound.  We also have half a dozen “Casual Cruises” each year to destinations that include Port Townsend, Everett, Langley, Poulsbo and more.  During the non-cruising part of the year we have special social events that include our Holiday on the Docks (a Christmas dinner party, Breakfast with Santa and decorated boats) plus a winter formal dinner and dance, and more.
